Of the above, I find Michael Pollan’s snack the most desirable, and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s the least. Do food and beverage play a part in your writing habits?
I am a heavy drinker (of unsweetened black tea) when I write.

I rather like the idea of lime popsicles!
I typically drink a lot of green tea or Nescafé when writing, and I consume a lot of chocolate too.
Mmm, NescafĂ©. I’d like to drink lots of coffee while writing, but more than one cup unhinges my brain in a not-so-good way.
this is amazing!!! the kafka one is so spot on!! i’m definitely a coffee (loads of cream and sugar) while i write kinda gal.
You certainly can’t part a writer from his/her caffeine.
Some of the snacks really do exemplify the author. Walt Whitman’s struck me as being very like him, especially the oysters…maybe because I think he looks a bit like a walrus.
